Why give?

Christ laid down all of his life for us, and we respond by giving back to him.

Money and material possessions are not our god; they are temporary fixtures in this life. Jesus invites us to trade these earthly resources for heavenly treasure, so we choose to sow generously toward God’s plans in this world, and reap generously the blessing of his rewards as we watch his ministry expand in our lives, neighborhoods, and city.

As the family of God, we also regularly share our abundance with those who in need. We are not possessive of what God has given us, but generous toward God and toward one another as we learn to have “all things in common.”

Ways to give

Give online using our giving platform with a credit card, debit card, or direct bank transfer.

Give via Venmo @BranchesHB. Include your full name and email address in the “what’s this for” area to receive a year-end giving statement.

Give in person on Sundays using our offering boxes.

Donate stock. If you own shares of stock that have risen in value over the years, donating stock can be a way to support our church long-term.

Donate goods. Donations of cars, RVs, boats, and other items are tax-deductible and limited to the sales price.
